You Are In Control

Ask yourself – am I where I want to be? Am I doing the things I want to do? If the answer is no, then ponder the reasons why.


Although we may feel that we are victims in our life, we do have choices. Our lives have unfolded as a result of decisions and choices we’ve made in the past. Now is the moment to change the way things are by letting go of what is holding us back and make different decisions for what we want going forward.


We need to look at what we complain about most often. If it’s something we can change, then we need to make those changes. If not, then we need to try looking for the positive reason and lesson as to why this person, thing or situation is in our life. Napoleon Hill said it best – “In every adversity, there is a seed of equal or greater benefit”.


Sometimes it’s just a matter of changing our attitude. Either way, it’s important to take the necessary action to make things better in every area of our life so we can experience that which we want to experience. We shouldn’t allow ourselves to be victims and sit there and complain. We need to choose to be happy by making the choices and do the things that will indeed make us happy.
