“You are strong when you take your grief and teach it to smile. You are brave when you overcome your fears and help others to do the same. You are loving when your pain does not blind you to the pain of others. You are wise when you know the limits of your wisdom. You are true when you admit there are times you fool yourself. You are alive when tomorrow's hope means more to you than yesterday's mistakes.” ~ Unknown
We come into this life to serve the purpose we are here for. We are also here to share love and support with one another whenever we can. When we are experiencing some dark times personally, we need to do or share something with someone else that will help them or brighten their day. By bringing sunshine to another person, it takes the focus off of how bad we may be feeling and it will help to brighten our own day. And when the time comes when we have to be strong, our endurance will show others it is possible to make it through anything life may bring our way. How we handle life experiences, especially the bad ones, inspires others and confirms that yes, it can be done.
Trials and pain are a fact of life. Instead of trying to resist them, we need to use them as a springboard to make changes in our lives. Through these trials and pain we grow stronger, wiser and learn what not to do next time, or perhaps take a different approach. We can also use the trials to help us decided where to make course corrections on the path of our life’s journey and perhaps go in a different or better direction. It can also be a time of assessing what no longer serves us and determine what we need to let go of.
It's about making good decisions daily, living in the moment and not stressing on the future. We need to enjoy and cherish the happy moments, learn from the hard knocks, and never let anyone try to convince us that we are less than we are. And by being in gratitude for that which makes us stronger, it will allow us to appreciate the growth and victory of moving on. It’s important to live a life of integrity and appreciation for what we have and what is to come, good or bad. By being in appreciation, we will attract more of the good times. And when the bad things happen, as they do, they can be good if we learn from them and move on. This will allow us to truly enjoy our good life. Even better, if we share our smile and heart with those around us, we can then live a great life. ~ ©2014 T. A. Garcia
